Restoration

1959 5TA Speed Twin

This beautifully restored 1959 5TA Triumph Speed Twin is a testament to both classic British engineering and the dedication of its owner, Mark Smith, who resides in Yorkshire.

Mark undertook the restoration himself, breathing new life into this iconic machine with meticulous attention to detail and a clear passion for authenticity. Among the many components he used were parts from our large catalogue of parts, including our non-quick-detach (non-QD) rear spindle set. This set comes complete with rear chain adjusters, brake rod fittings, and a generous selection of our high-quality stainless machined nuts and bolts.

One of the standout features of this restoration is how seamlessly the Stainless Classics components complement the original chromium-plated parts. The polished finish of our stainless hardware not only enhances the bike’s visual appeal but also offers long-lasting durability—ideal for enthusiasts who want their machines to look great and perform reliably for years to come.
