ROADHOLDER FORK KIT
‘Short Roadholders’ were fitted to all Dominators, M50 & ES2 models in the featherbed frames. The Commando also had stanchions longer than ‘Short Roadholders’. So-called ‘Long Roadholders’ were an earlier design of fork fitted to frames other than the Featherbed.
The fork kit (click diagram to enlarge) includes all the fasteners for attaching mudguards to the forks, pinching the wheel spindle, oil drain and retaining the internal cartridge via the hole at the bottom of the fork. The kit is also complete with the appropriate Commando or Dominator/Atlas fork seal collar.
Norton Commando Roadholder Fork Collars
£45.00
Set (2-off) of Norton Commando, 1970 onwards fork seal collars.
These collars included a recess above the fork thread to receive the rubber stanchion shroud/cover. Available with tightening/releasing holes (4-off at 90 degrees).
Note: Originally, without the tightening/releasing holes, tightening required a vice or similar gripping mechanism which would potentially damage any surface finish.
