BSA Thick Flange Barrel Stud Set

Suitable for BSA 500cc and 650cc twin cylinder models, from early to late 1940’s, including the final Super Rockets and Rocket Gold Stars.

Set of 9 studs cylinder base studs suitable for the thicker flange barrels, fits all A7  (500) variants and early A10 (650) only.  1.450” long, part no 67-1214.

Note that originally the thickness of the cylinder base flange was 3/8”, but on the 650 models, it was found that this had to be beefed-up, and the 650’s were then all changed, meaning that longer studs were needed.

Nowadays, an early 650cc engine is likely to have been fitted with thicker flange barrels and longer studs, but the thinner flange (3/8”) was retained on all of the A7 500cc models.
