DOUBLE SIDED ADJUSTER SETS
Note: Single sided adjuster sets are the standard and most common. Very often, owners have added a second adjuster after the bike left the factory.
These sets have two gearbox adjusters, one on the gearbox side (off-side) and one behind the chaincase. Some bikes left Meriden like this and were often justified by competition needs that would prevent the gearbox from being pulled forwards by the primary chain tension, under high power reversals. In todays world, where belt drives are fitted instead of a primary chain, the requirement exists for greater rigidity of the gearbox mounting.

Triumph pre-unit construction single sided plain adjuster set, this is the ‘slickshift’ adjuster set type with the midway angled cable abutment, however please select the type required should you need longer stud needed for alloy (thicker) plates or larger abutment pin (3/8″ nut).
Set comprises: stud, long stud nut, short stud nut (LHS), serrated washer, plain adjuster (5″ long), 2 off-nuts, abutment pin (small type).
